School Cell

L.A.C.E.S. has a very direct approach to explain life in prison and while we don't want to give any impressionable child grave worries, our back-drop of a real prison cell is a cogent platform for our presentations. The 'mock', albeit realistic, cell is set up on the school stage and is a forceful and omnipresent image to re-instate the message of our founder.
The mock cell is built on your school stage and is a pre-emptive strike to many wayward pupils who might believe that a life of crime is one of glamour. As we will explain, the idea of spending 23 hours in such a cell will prove to be a real deterrent and make many potential future criminals think twice.
It is not a caveat of our presentations to install the cell, but we have found that its installation has a real effect on many young people who believe that a life of crime is a glamorous one.

Our normal policy is to present to a school audience aged 13+ and very much in the vernacular, but not with street talk, slang or any profanity. Nevertheless, we will use 'prison-speak' as it is impossible to be realistic otherwise. We do not glamorise this in any way and our consistent message is one of pre-emptive avoidance of arrest and prison.
We have a full script which can be emailed to your school, but we often find that many pupils will ask direct questions and we would expect you to have a representative during the presentation to simply agree if any specific question is available for comment.
Mr. Young, our founder, is very hands-on and most pupils recognise this as a real presenter as opposed to some local community crime prevention officer. If, however, your school is not really suited to such a harsh and direct approach, we can combine our presentation with another speaker who is more versed with criminal law.
